Creating Smart Words (Synonyms)

People describe things differently. If someone searches your site for a "phone", you don't want them missing out on great results just because you typed "iphone" or "smartphone" in your post. Smart Words bridge that gap.

Setting Up a New Word List

1. Click Create Set on the left side panel and name your group (e.g., tech or furniture).
2. Choose your Synonym Type:
   • Multi-way synonym (Recommended): Makes all listed words completely interchangeable. Searching for any word in the list finds all of them (e.g., typing "couch", "sofa", or "loveseat" yields the same results).
   • One-way synonym: Directs a specific word to a broader target, but not vice-versa. Example if someone searches for phone - you could want them to see iPhone, Samsung Galaxy, One Plus
3. Type your words into the Synonyms box, separated clearly with a comma.
4. Click Add Item. Your new rules are live immediately!
